Import clients, leads, guides, and expenses
Bring your existing spreadsheet in — clients, leads, guides, or expenses — without retyping it.
You don't have to start empty. Import a spreadsheet to seed your CRM with the clients and leads you already have, bring your guide roster across, or load a season of expenses in one go. Files can be CSV, XLSX, or DOCX.
What you can import
- Clients — name, email, phone, address, status, and notes.
- Leads — your unconverted prospects, with their status and source.
- Guides — your roster, ready to assign to trips.
- Expenses — dated, categorized spend against your season.
Bookings are not importable. Create them in the app or take them through your public booking page — an imported booking would have to invent a payment schedule and a season fit, and getting either wrong is worse than typing it in.
Matching your columns
The importer reads your header row and matches it to the fields it knows, so “First Name”, “first”, and “given name” all land in the same place. Anything it can't match, you map by hand before anything is written — and you see a preview of what each row will become before you commit.
The 50-row limit
An import is sent to the server 50 rows at a time, and 50 is also the hard ceiling on a single call. A larger file still works — it's simply sent as several batches in sequence, and you watch the progress as it goes.
Keep an upload to 50 rows or fewer where you can. A single batch is the well-worn path; anything larger takes the multi-batch path, so if you do import a bigger file, check for duplicates afterwards before importing again.
If an import stops partway
Rows that were never sent are reported as not imported, so you know exactly where it stopped. Rows in the batch that was in flight when it failed are flagged as uncertain rather than guessed at — they may or may not have saved. Check those before you re-upload, rather than assuming either way.
Bulk import is on the Solo, Pro, Business, and Elite plans.
